Plastic Processing
To insure that each of their chairs are of the greatest quality, BOCK uses thermoplastic materials such as PP, PA, ABS, TPE, PC and PS on injection machines with locking pressures from 15 kN to 1,600 kN to produce parts from 1 g to 10 kgs in weight. PVC is not used at all.
With additional futuristic processes such as compact injection molding, 2-k-technologgy, TSG, mono sandwich and air press (GID) procedures, BOCK can meet nearly any demand from its customers.
Cold Cure Foam
In production, BOCK also uses cold cure foam. This enables BOCK to use soft foam for the production of upholstery foams, integral foams and armrests. The parts are manufactured on carousel using safe, environment friendly water driven systems.
Injection moulded parts and parts forged through PUR are also produced in the BOCK 2 plant at Thuringia, Germany and the BOCK PPL plant in Cambridge, Canada.
